Learning Spanish with hypnosis or learning hypnosis with Spanish

I am currently learning Spanish. One day a week, I have an online lesson with my Spanish teacher, who is very nice, and she is teaching me from a book which she uses with all her beginners. When I started, which was about a year ago, my aim was to get ready for a sailing holiday in Spain with my friends. That didn't happen, because of lockdown, but that idea is in my mind. So, during practice sessions, I have asked my practice partners on two occasions to help me with learning Spanish.  No magic was involved but I definitely have noticed a difference and Cristina, my Spanish teacher, has commented that I am learning very quickly. Session 1:PM with JC My suggested idea was to use time distortion. PM did this in an unexpected way using a journey to a park, then seeing leaves falling from the trees with each leaf falling representing a time studying and learning a part of the language. This worked very well for me and was not what I was expecting at all, so thank you PM. Session...

Arm levitation tied to unconscious learning

Arm levitation :doing something fun Briefly:had a session with JB, who mentioned arm levitation. Set this up by suggesting that arm levitation would not take place until he was ready to learn something important unconsciously. Then gave suggestions about humour, finding humour in situations that might have been difficult previously. Then, once JB was in a humorous state, gave suggestions about unconsciously learning from the humour and suggestions for arm levitation.  This duly happened, to the surprise of JB. Then, gave suggestions linking unconscious learning and the arm returning to normal. Conclusion:used resistance to arm levitation as the catalyst

Change of beliefs

JC worked with MH, who wanted to change her beliefs about something - specifically, about what she had to do to get that thing. The process was to ask MH to go back to the place where she learned these beliefs, which she said was  messages from adults, when she was a child, and to place the messages in a box then take them with her to present. The adult MH reviewed each message, before putting new messages in a box and taking it back to the same childhood scene, which MH relieved. Then JC asked MH to relieve relevant life experiences with the new box of messages and beliefs. Conclusion:this seemed to work well as a symbolic way of changing beliefs without working on the specific detail.

All body relaxation, health and general welll-being

Muscle relaxation By good fortune, I might have stumbled onto an interesting technique, working as subject with MH and as therapist with SD.  Full credit to MH who responded to my request for general well-being and came up with this. I had previously mentioned how I personally respond well to numbers and counting in hypnosis, which she made an integral part of the session. I then applied the technique to SD, who had particular requirement for muscle relaxation. Summary of session: MH & JC MH - asked me to pay attention to a particular part of my lower body, whatever came to mind, and allow it to relax, feel better as she counted down from 20 to 1. Then she asked for another part to come to mind and again counted down from 20 to 1, with suggestions of increasing well-being with each number. Then, she continued asking for other areas to come to mind and repeating the process. The session progressed with me doing the counting internally, and the process becoming automatic, with MH g...

Welcome to learning indirect hypnosis

Welcome to learning indirect hypnosis Hi all. This blog is intended for those who are learning indirect hypnosis with me. You will know who you are and why you are here, which is to share ideas with the intention of developing a useful resource. Your task is to create a useful resource which we can all learn from Everyone who I have worked with so far has had a different perspective on the subject and the more I explore the more I realise how much there is to the subject. So, welcome! I intend to start the ball rolling with some posts about recent practise sessions and I invite you (who know who you are) to do the same. The only rules are to produce good, relevant content and be respectful of others so we don't get into any trouble. Depending on how things go, I might ask Stephen if he would like this to migrate to his site. In the meantime, lets go!  James
